As announced in March at the presentation of its 2030 strategic plan, Dacia is expanding its range in the C-segment with Striker. A bold new alternative to SUVs, Striker will allow the brand to reach new customers in both retail and business.

Designed to complement Bigster, Striker is a crossover with the same Dacia DNA – Robust & Outdoor, Essential but Cool, Eco Smart. It will contribute to the brand's ambition of increasing the C-segment share of total sales from 20% to 33% by 2030.

Dacia Striker combines the best of all three worlds: the high driving position and outdoor capabilities of an SUV, the versatility and convenience of an estate, and the efficiency and performance of a saloon. With a particularly comprehensive range of multi-energy electrified powertrains, Striker delivers the best value for money in its segment, further strengthening the unique offering of the Dacia brand.

The name “Striker” is universal in the meaning of “to make a strike” or “hit the target”. A surprising and visually stunning car, it reflects the ambitions of Dacia and its ability to embrace new challenges, with an alternative for the C-segment that stays true to the values that are key to brand success.

ROBUST & OUTDOOR: A CROSSOVER CREATING A NEW BALANCE

With Striker, Dacia is inviting C-segment customers to enter a new era and to explore a new take on the crossover.

More than just a combination of categories, Dacia Striker aims to establish a balance between different uses and expectations. Combining the performance of a saloon, the interior space of an estate and the robust design of an SUV, it offers a more comprehensive and relevant response to today's needs.

This approach is reflected in a design that fuses flowing lines with more vertical contours, reflecting the vehicle's dual nature: efficient on the road, but also able to cope easily with more demanding conditions.

AN INNOVATIVE “HYBRID'” DESIGN CONCEPT

Designed for performance and aerodynamics, Dacia Striker fuses horizontal lines – inspired by the elegant forms of saloons and estates – with the vertical contours that are characteristic of SUV styling.

The exterior design of Dacia Striker is organised around one central feature: a taut shoulder line linking the front and rear light clusters and structuring the body as a whole.

This line is the backbone of the design, allowing for a clear interpretation on two levels, reflecting the dual nature of the vehicle.

Above the shoulder line, the contours are fluid and aerodynamic. The raked windscreen, elongated roofline and inclined rear window combine to create a sleek and dynamic profile. This section reflects the brand marker Essential but Cool, with an approach that is simple, clear and efficient, inspired by the elegance of saloons and estates.

Below the shoulder line, the contours are more structured and robust. The surfaces become more vertical, with generous ground clearance and strong proportions, underlining perceived strength and stability. This section reflects the brand marker Robust & Outdoor, inspired by SUV styling cues.

The integrated roof bars add a functional, outdoor finishing touch to the body, while maintaining the flow and coherence of the design.

Striker is the first vehicle to feature Dacia's new 'T'-shaped LED light signature, positioned at the four corners of the vehicle.

Seamlessly integrated with the design, it lends visible structure to the front and rear ends with the combination of vertical and horizontal lines, contributing to a construction that is both strong and legible in appearance, in keeping with the vehicle's design language.

At the front, this signature is integrated in a gloss black grille with the iconic “Dacia Link” in the centre. Extending across the full width of the vehicle, it underlines its stance and perceived strength, further emphasised by a generous front bumper.

A similar approach is visible at the rear, where the light signature is integrated in a wide black strip, expressing strong visual coherence with the front end. Featuring the Dacia name in embossed lettering, the strip accentuates the more vertical lines of the lower tailgate, emphasising the robust and structured character of the overall design.

ELEGANT PROPORTIONS AND STANCE

The crossover design of Striker fuses elegant, dynamic lines with generous proportions, for interior comfort and commanding on-road presence, underlined by the large 17-inch wheels with 18- and 19-inch wheels available as an option.

A crossover concept reflected in the dimensions of Striker.  This vehicle is 4.62m long, similar to a C-segment estate. While ground clearance is equivalent to that of a C-segment SUV (20 cm for the 4x4 and 19 cm for the 4x2), it stands just 1.53m tall, compared with over 1.60m for C-segment SUVs, for a level of performance more closely resembling a saloon.

The elegant design of Striker is underlined by a wide range of seven colours available from the Expression finish, including two new shades: Frost Green and Cosmic Blue.

READY FOR FAMILY GETAWAYS AND LONG JOURNEYS

Reflecting the Robust & Outdoor DNA of Dacia, Striker adapts to all sorts of uses, from active getaways to long journeys with the family. The finish levels reflect two complementary approaches, depending on individual needs and lifestyles.

The extreme finish of Striker is aimed at more active users, who see their vehicle as the ideal exploration partner. Robust, practical and easy to use, it is designed to carry all sorts of  leisure gear and equipment with ease. Off-road driving is easy with the generous ground clearance, reinforced – depending on the set-up – by the 4x4 transmission and hybrid 150 4x4  powertrain.

The design and features reflect this intensive use: exterior protection in Starkle®, a hard-wearing untreated material; washable TEP microcloud upholstery, and rubber floor mats including 50% of recycled material, making the vehicle easy to use and maintain from day to day.

Designed to be loaded, handled and used without limits, Striker extreme takes a direct, functional approach to outdoor activities, without compromising on performance or aerodynamics.

In contrast, the journey finish focuses more on comfort and peace of mind, for long journeys and trips with the family. The emphasis is on a more relaxed driving experience, with a range of features designed to enhance interior comfort: power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, mixed fabric and microcloud TEP upholstery, and a power tailgate.

With its optimised aerodynamics and real driving comfort, Striker becomes the ideal travelling companion; swallowing up the miles in a quiet, controlled environment.

The downhill speed control function – also standard on Striker extreme – acts on the brakes to prevent any loss of vehicle control, for example on steep slopes with poor grip, providing greater peace of mind for the driver who is able to focus on the road.
