The CUPRA Raval will be the third electric model from the brand and is set to be an emotional, high-performance urban vehicle. CUPRA are anticipating that the Raval will follow in the footsteps of its fellow fully electric Born, which has seen a plethora of success since its launch in 2023. It has won a number of accolades, including at What Car?’s Car of The Year for three year’s running, and wins at the Autocar and Car Buyer Best Car awards.
The CUPRA Born has also been announced as a winner in the What Car? Awards 2025 – taking first place in the Best Used Electric Family Car, and also a winner in the Best Electric Family Car category.

Marcus Gossen, Managing Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, said:
“To see the CUPRA Raval winning awards, even before it’s been launched, is such a success for the brand. We’ve beaten a number of our competitors to the Reader’s Award, and it’s already building a platform for the Raval’s credentials. We’re really excited to bring this new model to the roads and, and I’m sure the car is going to live up to the hype.”
“We’re also thrilled that the CUPRA Born has continued its winning streak. When a car is recognised by this many awards, it shows true strength and we’re proud to see drivers love the Born as much as we do.
Speaking about the Raval, What Car? said: "Before every What Car? Electric Car Awards, we ask our website readers and social media followers to name the most exciting EV coming soon. And despite being able to choose from a 14-car shortlist, more than a third of all respondents voted for the Raval this year, making it a clear winner."
Discussing the Born, What Car? said:
"Family cars need to be great all-rounders, and the Born absolutely fits that description; it's sharp to drive yet comfortable, offers both lively performance and a good range, and has an interior that's as appealing as it is practical. Yes, it's slightly more expensive than some rivals, but it feels worth every penny. And even if you can't stretch to a new Born, a nearly new version is a great alternative, thanks to CUPRA's five-year warranty."
