Can veterans get a military car lease deal?
Yes — veterans and ex-military personnel are fully eligible. You do not need to be currently serving. Anyone who has previously served in the UK armed forces can access our competitive military lease rates.
Can the spouse of an armed forces member get a military car lease?
Yes — spouses and partners of serving or veteran armed forces personnel are eligible. We recognise that Service life affects the whole family, and our eligibility reflects that.
What happens to a military car lease if I am posted or deployed?
Early termination costs vary by funder. This is particularly important for serving personnel who may face unexpected postings or operational deployments. We explain all early exit terms in full before you commit, and can discuss the most suitable lease term and funder for your circumstances.
Do military lease cars include insurance?
No — insurance is not included as standard. You arrange your own fully comprehensive motor insurance throughout the lease. Road tax and manufacturer warranty are included. Optional maintenance packages covering servicing and tyres are available.
Can I buy my military leased car at the end of the contract?
Standard personal contract hire leases do not include a purchase option at the end — the vehicle is returned. This protects you from depreciation risk. If owning the vehicle matters to you, a new car purchase through Forces Car Direct on PCP or HP may be more suitable.
