Brian Wood served in the British Army and awarded the Military Cross following his courageous leadership in Iraq. During his 16-year military career, Brian led British troops through many operations, including the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. After his tour of Iraq, Brian faced allegations against himself and his regiment under the Al-Sweady Inquiry by the Iraq Historic Abuse Team. The allegations were proved to be false, and the head of the legal team persecuting Brian struck off the roll of solicitors in the UK due to misconduct during the trial and falsification of certain cases.
